@rBrad4D: This is not Woodstock and The Who did not premier Tommy at Woodstock. If you look closely you’ll see this is in the middle of the afternoon. The Who went on stage at 4AM at Woodstock. Also, The Who were on the road playing Tommy for about three months before they played Woodstock.

@ameliiful It’s about everybody celebrating Christmas but Tommy, being a deaf dumb blind kid, has no idea what’s going on around him.

1:16 – I wish Roger would nuzzle into me like that while he squeezes me!

Case in point, just because I met him, doesn’t mean I can’t keep the fantasy alive!

that rocked out loud! I am 7 years old and love “The Who”.

This is def at Woodstock. you can tell this “tommy thing” was new to The Who around then, plus they are missing chords and harmonies. Also they premiered Tommy at Woodstock. Watch IOW 1970 an you can tell. Sweet Clip either way!

this is the only Christmas song that i dont get annoyed at hearing when its not Christmas. honestly, is there anything more annoying than hearing rudolph the red nosed raindeer in may?

My favorite Christmas song ever! I wish they’d play it at Midnight Mass.

When do you want to start? 2 days or 2 years?

daltry also forgets and mumbles words near the beggining………. i say lets the devot the rest of our practices to learning all of tommy. come on!!!!you know it would be good emotional fun. i think we could start a revolution in brantford if the 3 of us started playing it live.

Pete does screw up his chords during ‘his’ part of the song. Listen to chords he plays on the album. Proof to me Townshend is one of the greatest!
