Snoopy vs. The Red Baron (Snoopy’s Christmas) (CC)
I felt like making a video to go with my mom’s favorite Christmas song. PLEASE READ BEFORE ASKING ME QUESTIONS I get A LOT of questions about this video in December so I will put information here. The song I use is called Snoopy’s Christmas by the Royal Guardsmen. Many people call it Snoopy vs The Red Baron but that is not the Christmas version. The cartoons I used are from The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and Charlie Brown Christmas Cartoons and music are Copyrighted (The amazon link they provide is for the WRONG song) I made this video as a gift for my mom. I get too many people asking for a copy of it. I CANNOT GIVE PEOPLE A COPY OF THIS VIDEO. Right now you can only view it here on YOUTUBE. Most importantly, thank you for all the nice comments. I never intended for this video to be so popular. Check out some of my other videos! -Kim

I used to have the full album under the ‘Misteltoe’ label called ‘Snoopy’s Christmas’. This track was included in a second part of the third track on Side 1.

I am The Guardsmen’s manager through my label, Star Creek Records. They asked me to ask you, their wonderful fans, if you will help them promote their brand new single, “Alive and Well.” You can find the song/video by typing, The Royal Guardsmen, Alive and Well in the search engine on this site. On behalf of the band, I am extending a big thanks for your continued support. Maybe with your help, they’ll have another hit!! Luanne Hunt

“Snoopy’s Christmas” was originally issued in mono as 45 RPM single Laurie 3416 in November 1967. An “instant add” on radio, it soared to #1 on Billboard’s Christmas charts and stayed there for five weeks. It returned to the Christmas charts in 1968 and 1969 but oddly — unlike many other Christmas hits — never cracked Billboard’s Hot 100 pop singles charts. You can find it today (in stereo!) on the 4 CD box set “The All-Time Greatest Hits of Christmas” available from Guideposts Magazine.

A buddy had the album, and it was all about Snoopy vs. the Red Baron. The title song was first, this one was the last one on the “B” side. The rest were pretty forgettable.
